Anyone who knows me can tell you that I love politics. In a self political background nutshell, I am a take care of it your own damn self, learn responsibility, I work hard and alot for my money, down home, GAY Texas Republican.
I am beyond sick and beyond tired of people abusing a system that WOULD work if it were utilized in the respect that it was created. Everyday in this shit hole ER I cross paths with people who ride up in a 2010 Escalade, carrying a authentic Louis Vuitton in one hand and a I-Phone in the other and guess what... "I have Medicaid" is the first fucking thing out of their mouth. You know, unless both of my legs were amputated or I was fucked up beyond all belief physically (not mentally) there is no way in hell I would EXPECT all of my fellow Americans to work their ass off, so that I could have a check on the 3rd of each month and (basically) free medical expenses!
Now that the "let's heal the world, change, Change, CHANGE, Yes We Can" douchebags are running every level of our federal government they want to overhaul our healthcare system to include more of the population?? I'm sorry... but aren't they the party that fucked healthcare up in the first place??
I want someone to give me a straight answer. When did we become a nation of "what have you done for me lately?" Before any of you liberal fucks want to comment that I have never had a hard life or I don't know how it is on the streets - You Better Ask Somebody. There have been periods in the past where I didn't have a penny to my name, a roof over my head or a cracker to stop the hunger. My conscience wouldn't allow me to reach out for government assistance. I knew that I created my environment and if I didn't like it I was more than capable of changing it on my own, without food stamps, without Medicare, without any form of welfare whatsoever. Personal responsibility - that is how our country was built, it is what made our country strong, and it is what keeps us free! We are slowly and noticeably allowing a governing body to take over our lives. Do any of you realize this? Better yet, do any of you care?? If you do y'all sure ain't doing nothing about it!
Everyone spoke loud and clear last November, I believe the war cry was "Yes We Can" if I am not mistaken. Yes you can what? Let's talk about this for a minute...
24 hours into office... How about we give Mexico $2 million for abortion funding? Yes You Did!!
During the campaign we heard about Bush's stimulus plan and how much of a failure it was... Hmmm? What did we do?? How about another round of stimulus! Only this time let's make sure that church in Oregon gets their organ pipes repaired and that other town in Nevada has money to landscape their city hall and while we are at it let's throw some of that money in the abortion till?! Really? Far be it from me to negate what a woman does to her own body, but isn't elective abortions preventable? I may be uneducated but I swear there is something called birth control... Hmmm? I guess that also falls under the lost art of "personal responsibility". I mean hell, screw it, why should you have to worry about it when you "gots yo'self a govamint that can do all yo worry'n for you," right??
Sometimes I wonder why do I get so mad? Why do I care how my fellow citizens choose to live their lives?? Truth is I don't... until someone says that my hard earned pay is getting cut, again, so that we as a country can assist Shequita Lashondaniknik, Guadalupe Rivera Gonzales Martinez and Bobbi Jo Sueanne with their 5+ children because none of their 3+ baby daddies don't take what..? THATS RIGHT - personal responsibility for their own flesh and blood.
After the presidential inauguration in January 2009 one of my good friends compiled a list. He went back to the day that our current POTUS (I never speak his name) announced his candidacy and listed every single campaign promise that was made by going through hundreds (maybe thousands) of speech and interview transcripts. 502. More campaign promises than any other elected POTUS in the history of the United States. (Talk about biting off more than you can chew!)Honestly, I have to admit that I can't get all the way through the list. I have this mental thing I call a "bullshit monitor", it allows me to get about 40-50 promises deep in the list before it dings "BULLSHIT!" Here lately I'm not able to read, watch TV or listen to the radio before some liberal starts blah blah-ing about GOP hate and bipartisanship yadda yadda, and before I can blink an eye... Ding! Bullshit!!
"Well Hollee, you have good points, but how can you be gay and Republican?" says the dumbass.
First and foremost, the basis of the conservative ideology is reducing the role of the federal government and giving more power to the State and/or regional governing bodies concerning issues of human (civil) rights. This is where the "gay" issues resides. Personally, I do not have any gay issues. I could careless about what any other person thinks about me or what I may, or may not do in the privacy of my own home. As far as I am concerned, my personal intimacies are not up for legislature, basically... it is none of your fucking business. I do not parade up and down God's creation telling my business. I do not engage in public displays of affection with the same sex. Most importantly, I do not march in protests butt naked, painted pink with a rainbow sticker on my butt cheeks screaming "I'm here! I'm queer!" My question to all of the gay and lesbians concerning political affiliations is, "How can you be a Democrat?" Which, coincidentally, is the same question I ask African Americans. Let's break it down real quick... The only thing Democrats have done notably to gays and lesbians was keeping them in the closet, remember "Don't Ask, Don't Tell?" And since I can tell your wondering about why I ask African Americans the same question (due to the stupid liberal "Duhhhh" smirk on your face) Abraham Lincoln wrote the Emancipation Proclamation and Lincoln was a...? Republican! Martin Luther King Jr, the father of the civil rights movement was a...? That's right bitches, Republican! (Hold on, I got one more!) This nation's highest ranking government official prior to our current POTUS, Colin Powell, the 65th US Secretary of State under the presidency and administration of George W. Bush...? I'll be damned - Republican!
Whew! Shit, that was long...
Smooches,
Hollee Wood (R) - Texas
